Welcome to my day in the Rush Hour Blog Hop!
Kick off your shoes and put your feet up. We've done all the work, so you can just relax and enjoy.
Thank you to Madame Samm of SewWeQuilt for giving us the opportunity to show our creativity.
Big thanks to Carole of JustLetMeQuilt for being our awesome cheerleader.
Thank you Studio E for the super fun fabrics that inspired our creativity.
For this hop, I designed and made a briefcase.
I had a lovely fat quarter pack, but I didn't have enough of just one fabric to make the outside of the briefcase, so I had to get creative! I made my own fabric using 2" strips with 1" black strips to separate each one. The bag measures 12" x 16 1/2" x 3"
This is the front......
Inside there are two pockets and a hard bottom. This pockets is sized exactly for an iPad.....
This pocket is for files.......
Leaving lots of room in the middle!
On the front there is a zippered pocket.....
Inside the zippered pocket are three more pockets....
I love these pockets! I think all the little squares look so good. It is my favorite part of the briefcase.
These pockets hold a ton of supplies, like a huge scarf!
This is the back of the briefcase..... ...where there is more storage for files or papers to grade!
I used heavy duty webbing for the handles.
So there you are! My day is done, but be sure to visit all the other wonderful folks who are posting today.
